LANDSCAPE PLANS

THE DESIGN PROCESS

1. Initial Consultations 

Every client has different requirements, so each landscape design project begins with a consultation to understand your needs and wish list. Consultations usually last between 30 min – 40min and there is a small charge associated with this as a call out fee of $120.00 incl Gst. During this session, we listen to your thoughts, ask questions, and take an impression of the site. We may also show you some visuals and propose some initial ideas to further articulate what you want. This will enable a brief to be produced to accurately reflect your requirements.

1a. The Paperwork 

You will then receive a quote for your plans and detailed design brief outlining everything discussed at the initial consultation, you will be asked to return the design brief signed and an invoice will be issued for the deposit to get the process started.

2. Site Survey and Analysis

Next step a detailed site visit needs to be undertaken. This involves a site/ house measure, spot levels if required and photos of the garden. We look at soil, the aspect, ugly views that need screening or beautiful views that need promoting, among many other details.

2a. Preliminary Drawings 

Once all the site survey information has been collated we start developing a landscape design and we will set up a meeting to go over the preliminary drawings. This stage is very important as it allows us to work through the ideas with you and make changes where needed. You will be presented with sketches/ artist impressions, a rough plan and a plant palette sheet showing all the plants at this meeting.

3. Finished Landscape Plans  

Finalized  Landscape Plans are emailed and hard copies couriered, you will receive the originals and black and white copies.

4. Turning the Plan into Reality

We can recommend and refer trusted landscapers, craftspeople and source plants and any other elements as needed.

90 MINUTE CONSULTS

If you are generally confident in the garden but are stuck on ideas or need help with planting requirements and combinations, then this option will suit you.  We will come to your property and produce rough plan sketches, plant lists and other relevant notes. This is a 90min consultation and does suit smaller garden areas. Please call or email us now for a quote.

PLANT SOURCING & PLACEMENT

We can quote up plants for you and organise delivery right through to planting your garden. This service ensures that quality plants are selected, handled and planted appropriately. This service is charged out at an hourly rate depending on the size of the job.
